Meet Me – Paul McNeill, an Excellent Church Piper℠

I'm a piper committed to playing beautiful music.  I’ve been singing in choirs and playing musical instruments since I was a child, for over 60 years now.  I love to share my talent with other people.

My Background

I play bagpipes as my Christian music ministry. I also play the Scottish whistle, Scottish smallpipes, and bassoon.

I am retired from the United Nations.  My passion for music is just too great, so after my retirement, I have dedicated my time to playing music for Christian events.

How I’ll Dress

You can choose what iconic uniform I wear for your occasion:

  • For outside in cool weather, or anytime in air conditioning, I’ll wear the winter Scottish or Irish regalia of doublet jacket, shiny belts and buckles, kilt, horsehair sporran, and white spats, all topped by a high feather bonnet
  • For outside in hot weather, I’ll wear a military white shirt and necktie, with a kilt, horsehair sporran, and white spats, all topped by a high feather bonnet
  • For a civilian look, ask for a Prince Charlie tuxedo shirt and jacket, kilt, formal sporran, and white stockings
